I was just explaining to the missus the idea of the new bridle connection points on the new Dyno and she says, "how will it relaunch", and " how about self launching" ?? Good question so have you tried and was it any different to previous kites?
cheers,
Robbie
Relaunch, was simple, I have drift launched it in the water easily, but I have yet to self launch on land with it. But all seems fine in the launching aspects.
I sold my 2013 17m to a local cat, if he is out, I can do some switching off, but based on the feel of the two kites, the new 18 should make you bigger guys happy. The new bridle just supports the kite so well, I could be blind and there maybe some thing that goes crazy when it is overloaded, but I haven't experienced it yet. I could make the 2013 get a little crazy when climbing with out bar pressure, maybe a flap or three on the way through the window, but not with the new ones..yet.
The juice 18m must be crazy, in 2011 I had a 18m that would treat me like a little bitch, and just have its way with me, I was always going for the depower rope, this new juice does have a little of that holey shit, please don't be a huge gust, character. I really want to jump this thing, even doing tacking transitions it wants to pick you up. It really is just fun and easy.
The dyno is just a machine, at feels so mechanical, like a sports car, and the juice is a big old beach dune buggy. I will try and do a short video.
Billy,
