13 yrs of flying on the white fluffy stuff and Blue fresh water, never boring, always in need a adrenalin fix. Its a sickness, that includes warm fires, sand, sun, Friends, Family. Who would'nt be still stoked.

Man I think your doing it wrong! :cool2:

I am the opposite. Never ashamed. In fact I think I have secretly discovered the key to eternal happyness. Its so much fun it should be illegal!....

After years....well yes two years...still loving kiting....just really getting into new tricks, get a a massive rush every time when i see the water before i go in....love trying to understand new tricks...

Love the lifestyle. beach, water wind and wave with an engine :) , does not really mix with the family though..... does annoy me a lot because i can only go out when wind comes! And have to work sometimes when the wind really blows.. :o

Love being able to kite everywhere with a 7, 9,12 and 15 kite...lots of depower and with my two tt boards and an old surf board....

I get goosebumps just thing about the last two years...in France (atlantic), on the North sea and Baltic ocean and on the lakes and rivers in my area in Germany...the late sessions just before the sun goes down and the early sessions when i set up just as the suns coming up....kite for 2-3 hours and have the rest of the day to just relax (at work)..

All in all - hard work at times - but a great and rewarding experience - far better for me than windsurfing

My Mountain bike does not get used as much as it used too...... :P

In 1999 I saw kitesurfing for the first time in Tarifa. In 2001 I took some lessons.
Today still kiting every free time

I am hooked in this sport for life.
My whole life circles around kiteboarding.
Has made me a better person and also a miserable wind maniac.
It is like a drug.

Started in 2001 lucky enough to have been and instructor from the early days, seen the world, kited in the best places and earned a living from it, now 34 and just finding my stoke for kiting again…its the sport that keeps giving, and people are always so interested in it when you mention it. it would be good to see something new. but i really don't see where it can go.

More stoke!

Spring has been very good here in NZ. Loving my boosting my 10m edge off wave lips in 20-25 knots.
Sooooooooooo much boost and glide.

The only problem is that you need to be at least 2 line lengths upwind of anybody else otherwise your getting to close them after the massive boost.

ahhhh!

Good times indeed.

How about the time you landed your first back rolls fellas and ladies? Remember that stoke feeling? You knew at that point you were committed for life.

But be careful not to get too stoked....
