I'm just curious and I'm pretty bored with the light wins are upon us for the balance of the summer.
I have a number of older kites in my garage. Any thoughts on removing some struts from one of them? Just for giggles!.
What characteristics would likely be the best? Something with a swept wingtip? What would bethe worst?
I'm so bored........ Need a project.
Phil

As you can see in the topic link I just did it with an open c kite and it works. The one improvement I have to do is to make some mini battens like the original you see at the wings, I need them all the way in the middle. But I am using the kite the way it is.
