- any comps between '14 and '15 REO's welcomed, if any yet
-or just stick with North and look into the NEO's?

Thanks, seeing you're a bulkyboy brother, whats ur crossover with that split: 12 18-25, 9 25-30+, 7 nuking blowing little dudes off the water?ktouhey wrote:I haven't tried the BWS, but I have 2014 REOs and can comment on those.
I am 6'6" / 250lbs. kiting since 1998. flown & owned a stupid number of kites.

I prefer a 7/9/12 split.
Would love to demo them all but we only have a couple choices around these part, mostly all North with som Cabs and Best thrown in. I actually just found a 2014 12m Reo local, give it a go tomorrow. Wouldn't mind trying a Neo also.CRD wrote:Maybe you could demo both before you buy

If I was in obx I would certainly give the Epic Surf a try but it kinda looks like a funky/kooky design similar to what Naish tried. And it also looks like the wingtip could distort being such a large unsupported area between steering line and last bridle point? Who knows it might be the next best thing.CRD wrote:As long as your finding surf kites to try, I would contact Epic and see if they have a way for you to try the surf kite. I was using another brand and unexpectedly had a chance to try one, when I did I really liked it. Never hurts to try lots since kites are so expensive. I never tried the Reo but did try the BWS which I liked, but just happened to like the Epic better.
