What's everyone using to rotate and stabilize their videos? Even short Gopro videos seem to take forever with Adobe Elements 2018, with all the key frames, individual frame rotating, etc.. Is buying Adobe Premier an absolute necessity?

I've seen a decent idea about how to keep the rider vertical in the frame during filing to cut down on post editing time, but I wouldn't want to crash a kite with this thing attached......

Any help with a direction is appreciated.

I did a single line mount, with the same idea as skordmount, using gravity to position the camera horizontally.
Well, shots are decent as long as the kite is in front of you. When it is overhead the rotation axis is in vertical position, so the gravity doesn't stabilize the camera. It can freely (sometimes violently) rotate.
Since most of the clips I use are from the time I send the kite to 12 until I land the jump, this concept was useless and far worse than a normal line mount.
In gusty wind and choppy water it is even worse.
I bet Skord used their best footage for their promo video and IMO it's not that good.

This poster, "ptraykovski", had a great idea going and it looked like he was going to do a Kickstarter, but his thread kinda died. Nothing new posted since 2015. If you could combine his GoPro backpack with a decent post editing software that had auto horizon correction and target tracking, you'd have it made.
