Their seems to be some uncertainty as to the availability of the 2015 NRG in the US. Does anyone have some insight?

Well it looks good.

Where is this rumor the Envy is replacing the NRG coming from? They are very different kites, and I know the NRG has a good following with the freeride / boosting riders. Seems like a bad idea IMO, NRG riders will probably go Switch Nitro or something, as most of them dislike the Envy (too slow).

I'm not sure that it is a replace, but rather the end of the NRG line. It has been widely reported that the NRG recieved no upgrades for the 2015 - sounds like someone has plans to put it out to pasture.

if you look at the video interview from jason selzak from liquid force he admits it has a huge following and says that he wanted to put all their effort into redesigning the envy. I think the future of the NRG is fine.

I have never heard of a kite manufacturer not making any "improvements" to a kite. This makes me suspicious that the NRG is dead.

This review is really bad, doesn't appear the guy has ever even rode the newest model but makes tall claims about performance. Just because it's on the internet does not mean its true.

No tall claims - I just received the kite and wanted to share an overview of the build of the kite with other riders.

I like it. With the small dia LE and struts it should go upwind really well.
Bravo
