I had a Garmin Forerunner few years ago, I think it was the Forerunner 205 (no heart rate monitor so it was cheaper). I really liked it and was always wearing it while kiting. Nice for racing or just to find out how fast you can go. Then, last winter I had a Xensr and I am waiting to see if I will go with the new Xensr or buy a new GPS watch. The Xensr is much more interesting for me as it record your jump height but I had problems with the previous version with my iphone4. The new model will not need you to carry your iPhone so it is much better. Still waiting more info however before I take my decision.

I used to use a garmin fenix watch which worked well. I then replaced with a garmin virb elite, which records video and your gps data. Now I get the speed data with some awesome video footage!

Me too, I'm checking theses, seem quite similar to the Xensr. Can't wait to see both unit specs and pricing once they are ready.
