Northkites customer service issue

While i was kiting in Paros island, in the middle of August the right front line of my bar broke. I sent pictures to the dealer in Athens asking them to replace the line.. After they contacted Northkites they said to me that they will replace it but they didnt have any at that point and they ordered one. since then i 've lost a lot of sessions, even the dealer was very kind to lend me a bar for a week. it's late september, more than a month and still Northkites haven't send anything to the dealer. furthermore at the end of august i ordered dice 2015 9 and 12. last week the 2015 kites arrived but no 9. next drop off end of November.
really northkites ?????
maybe you gain pro riders to your team with your great products but you loose the everyday kiter with your service!!!!! :nono:

So the local distributor is back ordered on a few things, the dice's are super popular and other people probably put preorders in before you.

Sounds more like the local shop needs to communicate better with you. Although I'm amazed the dealer didn't just pull a front line off of one of the complete bars, my local shop does that all the time. North USA has great customer support, even their western rep (Dan) posts here regularly.

back order ??? wont agree with u . the 9 square meter is available to the Greek market end of November 4 months after the release of their product ( the iphone 6 will get here sooner ).
come on … thats not dealers fault , how they can sell stuff when they dont have any …..
concerning the line i assume the dealer has not many bars on stock to spare one , and i am saying that cause they wasted a northkites brand new set of lines ( 150 euros ) just to replace mine but it was 20 cm longer than then ones i have on my bar …. how paradox is that….

The way i see it Northkites is interested to sell to some countries more than others , brands like slingshot, best etc have already available all of their 2015 collection.

Interesting point of view. Customers seem to become more and more demanding :)

So, you are saying that North should have all their kites at the same time in all shops? I wonder how many companies do that. Can you buy a Iphone 6 in greece right now? Well, in the US you can ;)
I think its totally normal if companies introduce products at different times around the world.

It is true that all north products reach Greece with a delay. All 2015 kites (like previous years, as well) come here at least a couple of months after they are spread to the whole world. Specific lines are not all available, as well. I dont know if it has to do with the local dealer or with the b2b communication.

or maybe just a matter of payment? If you just can deliver a specific number of kites then you for sure give them first to your dealers that are known for being the ones that are paying their invoices.
Especially in this branch the propensity of paying is not the best.

I am not a North fan, I actually do not like the brand very much, but to be fair with them what they are doing really well compared to other brands (especially compared to my favourite brand - Naish) is the availability of spare parts and customer support. My buddy is using North Kites and when he needs a spare part it does not tke longer than 2 or 3 days and the part is in the shop. So this sounds to me as being a dealer problem more than a manufacturer problem. You also mentioned that your dealer only has very little bars available. That sounds weired as you can need the bars for all kind of kites. How many kites does your dealer have on stock? Or is he just ordering when a customer does? Whith respect, that´s not a dealer then.

Yeh I'm just not a naish fan at all, but my local shop can get in parts really quick as well for my naish riding buddies.... :o
