New Hero only comes in Silver or Black, how would it compare to your Hero2, like comparing the iphone6 to the original iPhone, chalk and cheese

That's good marketting.
Give a high end version, but make sure you get all price points on board with the GoPro brand.

Yhea I think its a good decision for users too! you still have a good product for the price (compared to the copies) And you get the support (firmware updates).

personally I never had ANY problems with my Hero 2, everything still works as new and I never got any fogging problem. (used it in iced water surfing, skiing, and kitesurfing)

I purchased awhile back a Go Pro Hero 2 and I could not get that thing to stop fogging. I would bake and cram as many strips into it as I could and it would always fog up. Even when I went diving at lower temps it still would still fog up. I bought it around Christmas and started using it in the spring and they would not take that POS back which left a salty taste so I am done with that company. By the looks they don't need my charity anyways.

I think you answered the question why you have had no fogging issues, try using it in warm temps.

Hu you might be right there, I can't remember a time I used it in warm temp...at least not for a long time, water is relatively cold year-long here so the housing might just stay cool enough.

I have a Hero3 silver...does what I expect and nothing more. My biggest complaint is the fish-eye lens. WIFI battery life is abysmal but to be expected in my opinion.

open it on your car dash with A/C on for a few minutes, then close it up and you're good to go.
the A/C dries out the air.
