Interesting thread. Age and golfer's elbow have made it difficult, now impossible, for me
to unzip behind my neck so I was forced to get a front zip. I have one that zips all the way down
to the crotch so it's no problem to get in. Getting out means getting it off the shoulders which
would be tricky, but in fact you have the implement right there when you're kiting. Take your bar,
wedge it in under the shoulder of the wetsuit and lever it off.
Big plus of my setup-you can unzip it from the bottom which means you can take a pee out
there....

Hands down - a back-zip with a proper membrane.
I own a cold-water front-zip one and I can't wait for it to fall apart. My biggest grips with it are the fact that I can't get out of it by my-self and how much water passes through the neck when falling or body-dragging.

I counted the number of members that suggested the front and the back zip in this thread.
Back Zip - 11
Front Zip - 2
I weight around 75kg average body type.
I think that I will stay with the back zip but will try on the front zip.
Thanks guys!

That's because most of the people here are old dudes. Once you get down getting one arm off its easy.
Front zips
-can fit closer/ better
-are warmer
-have better stretch and mobility

I have a front zip full body 2/3mm wetsuit reused from scuba diving and it works fine. My current spring suit has the pull over neck with front zip which is also working fine for me. I have found if I wear a rash guard under either suit, they are very easy to get on or off.

Spot on (what I meant with the typical forum user) - and there is no doubt that front (chest) zip are by far the superior suit because of above 3 aspects

I have a front zip. It takes a little effort but once one arm is out it's easy to get out of. The only place water gets in is from the legs if I hit the water too hard.
