I need a new board. I like directionals and currently ride a shinn shinnster ( brilliant ) and a surfboard , both strapless.
what I would really like is a board for powered up riding in choppy conditions and small waves. I would like to be able to use straps without fear of it breaking and a nice bit of flex would be great.
I am in the process of putting back together a 2014 cabrinha skillit that snapped being used with straps in chop. I am not a booster but a nice jump off chop should be able to be undertaken with out too much worry
I like the look of the Nobile infinity but can not find much info in it, Any riders on here use it ? or would something like a 2015 Naish skater do it ? any opinions most welcome.
cheers in advance.
ps. if anyone is interested in a brand new 2015 Cabrinha proto 5'7" for £500 get in touch.

The Cabrhina Tronic is another TT that is outstanding in those conditions. I bought the biggest one because I really wanted it to feel surfy...Love it.

He"s not looking for a TT! We have mushy conditions on the East coast of Ireland, I also have a Shinnster and a wave board, both strapless like you. I had a 2014 Skillet which was far to fragile and I wasn't crazy about it ,so I sold it and bought an old Liquid Force Skate 5,11 for 150.00 euro. What a board!!! Cuts through chop, is perfect for mushy waves and is bullet proof.
If you can pick one up grab it you won"t be disappointed!
Cheers Murph.

Skater is one option..the naish global another. I think the global works well in choppy conditions...especially in blasting...waves don't have to be huge for this board to be great fin. The skater really does not have any problems...but it depends on what you want to do..

sounds to me like for what you want, most f the big company boars ail be to lightweight and not last at all. try checking out a Doyle or Axis(used to be Underground). great boards for what you are looking for AND will last. IMO of course…..

Yeah, definitley not a twin tip for me
I like the look of the Axis, do they have any flex in them ? having ridden the shinnster a lot recentley I feel that flex is good , volume is bad!! Any ride reports of the Axis ?
