That is the silliest statements and post I've seen (Do-it), almost hilarious, but actually a shame that some can ever think this way, and know nothing about freestylers in general

Envious people will always say bad things.
Any clue how hard most of the Brazilians worked to be where they are now?
Do you know any of them personally?
You are also lucky do it...maybe less lucky then others, but for sure luckier than 95% of worlds population.
My advice: look down, not up. And you will fin peace and happiness!
And great to hear Jon that you life is great, lucky you...enjoy to the max!!!

You on the other hand are clearly very angry. I would work on that buddy! Maybe yoga? Breathing? I don't know.. whatever works!
I can't afford Yoga classes...Don't they do those on SUP's?

Do-it" you are mistaking buddy. Not all of them were born to rich parents. Go see Marc Jacobs' story. The guy had to save for three years in a row to buy his first kite when he was a kid.

Not saying you don't need a bit of cash behind you to compete on PKRA without being in top few... But yup Marc Jacobs.... truth... big shame to see him getting injured! He'll be back...killing it in wind that most dare not even unhook in.

Professional kiteboarding is a job as any other, they have to work hard to be were they are, is the same as being a professional football player or going into the olympics

I understand doit. any time I see a 20 year old in a lambo or Ferrari I just hope for them to crash
but pro kiters are one of us they don't do it to get famous just for love of the sport we all share the same passion can't be jelly of that

What happens in Poland these days ? Again the Polish organisation try to dictate the rules of the kitesport. Also in racing where they want to ban the equipment that is not made by their sponsors ?
If you are a competing in a competition where the result is up to the judges, you will often feel that the judges were not right if you loose. And maybe they were not - but when a result is announced this is it! It can never by 100% fair when personal opinions make a choice. Dont try to have the game re-runed. You just have to swollow it, and the judges should maybe look intern and step up their game too for future events.

I think Toby has an excellent point. Some would call it "politics", but judging is subjective and this is just an example of differing perspectives. Clearly everyone wants to be the winner
Toby wrote:Judging, has it ever been fair?
Specially when scores differ 0.5 etc ?
Personal taste plays a part of it. Is it height? power? style? personal?
I learned my lessons and ride for the spectators, the judges can do what they want
But for sure exciting story...let's see the outcome of this
