Hi dazed,
looks scary, but you seem to be in perfect control at all times.
My biggest nightmare is to get washed by a powerful wave and get tangled in my lines.
Can you give some advice here how to act in such conditions to always get pulled out of the wave nicely like you show in that vid? Really great how you get pulled out of the water by your kite even in very powerfully breaking, large waves.
What was the wind direction in your video? Offshore or side? Due to your leash I guess at least partly offshore.
I know that the kite has to be steered against the wave, in general. But apart from that I´m clueless.
I´m mainly surfing in side to side-onshore wind with fully onshore waves.

That is my board and someone removed? the grip off the back
And yes I have had a hit to the head, it was a only smallish cut that super glued back together. But I'm all to aware of the risks of kiting with a leggie/leash.
But at that wave your board goes on the rocks at lowtide.
