Scary conditions -yes.
Kite deforming - no.
The kite is changing aoa rapidly as rider negotiates bumpy huge wave faces. And gusts. Kite flare appears to respond to this as well. It's a wave kite, a drift kite.
This is not deformation or jelly fishing.
