Tempted to say freestyle, but it's all dangerous really... Airstyle , freestyle, wave, landboarding, we are all mutants; the body just wasn't made for this stuff. The rest is just narcissism of small differences. Beginners probably have it the hardest... But it's all oh so much fun!

What about that period in your learning where you are growing past beginner and gain false confidence in your skills. Hard lessons are learned during this time.

are you speaking from experience? (no offence intended - genuine question)
imho - you don't actually appreciate the differences in difficulty / danger (i know i didn't) till you actually start attempting those different disciplines

When you think about the pointy end of each discipline it they are all pretty dangerous at the extreme limit. Maybe airbunny has a point?

Sorry John, didn't mean to be coy. No, I clearly haven't attempted all styles/disciplines. I'm not a very good nor a very experienced kiteboarder myself, but I've been around surfers, kitesurfers, mad inventors and in general people who like to push the boundaries of the humanly possible since I can remember myself, so I know a thing or two about the way they tick... Sometimes the people near you know you better than you might think. All it takes is a good ear.

Fair enough. Yes, anything extreme no matter which discipline is dangerous.
And no matter which sport.
