we were all noobs once. i had many problems when i first started and i was always appreciative of those more experienced who took the time to help.

i try to pass along that which i received. here's what i think,

if you are new, dont act like you know whats up, cause you dont. pay attention to the local "rules" and ask questions when you have them. get familiar with whats expected for that spot. you suck and dont forget it, but you wont always suck so you've got that going for you....which is nice.

if you have experience, then reach out and be helpful, which unfortunately sometimes means dropping the hammer on someone who needs to just go away and not come back. hey, shit happens and retards abound. f*** em....sometimes, but sometimes not in which case give the kid a break. we've all been jackasses every now and again. nothing a sincere apology wont fix in a half second.
