So its been a while and I dug out my old kites and wanted to get them back flying.
Does anyone know where I could get some replacement bladders and hoses for my 17.5m machine?
I know its been 10 years out of the factory..I just want to fly them again.
Thanks.

The hoses are standard tubing that you can get at any supply house that caries rubber tubing.
I have a set of 17.5 Machine bladders that need work on the valves.
I have most of the valves but not all of them. Most are not still attached to the bladders.
If your bladders are screwed up and you need the actual bladders, then I would be glad to help you out.
Nobody is going to have a set of bladders that will have valves that are intact.
Those kites had valve issues, as you know, and none of them had valves that would stick for ten years.
If you want mine, shoot me a PM and we can get you some bladders.

Hi Oldnbroken,
I appreciate your help.
What I will do.(when the rain leaves me for a few days is take the gear out into the yard and strip it and inspect the valves and bladders properly.
I just figured the valves would be shot (agree completely...they will be shot, warped etc and not going to survive no matter what I use to glue them in) and assumed the bladders would be no good after sitting this long as well.
Let me go through it properly and assess the damage and I will get back to you.
Thank you for offering up your old bladders...I will send you a PM soon ..Thanks again.

I have plenty of old kites. Like I mentioned on your other thread, bladders stored properly do not decay with age. Valves do decay because the plasticizer leaches.

I have a new 2005 20.5 Machine that is still crispy with bar and lines. Flown twice and would let it go cheap if you are interested. I just blew it up yesterday.
