Toby, what is a "'handslide"? Are you rotating, or no? Is it a boardslide and then a "handwash" rotation?
it is a Darkslide, no matter if loop or not.

A KGB is also a KGB with the kite low looping at end or not. Same same.

See here the first, long slide it is without a loop:

@Toby for the handslide variation do you put your front hand on the back side or the bar?

Hello guys,
I am working on my darkslide, and I got a problem . I can more or less do the slide, but i can't get back riding. I pull the the loop, and get pulled horizontally, instead of being lifted..why is that? if I take a look at the videos from Lucasz he has almost stopped, and the loop pulls him a little vertically, so that he can get up again...
I have also bought your kids, and seen that you pull the loop at around 2? Pulling the loop higher or lower is better to get more vertical pull?
I am using a Switchblade, 9 M, in 25 knot, 65 kg. I am now in Paraguay, working on some tricks
Thanks

If you want to go up, your kite needs to be up.

Imagine pulling a low loop, really close to the water. How is that going to pull you up?
