Marketing kites and custom kites

I'm looking for photos and info on custom kites for marketing. Obviously Redbull would be number one, but I have seen photos of other marketing type kites. Can anyone help me out with some more photos? Can anyone provide companies that will build theses custom kites? I remember seeing Ozone had a colour configuration selector, are there other kite companies who will do this?

Ozone makes kites with custom design. Try contacting them. They will provide you with templates, you fill them with your graphics and get price estimate.

Just 2 things:
- if you make it yourself, be prepared to spend hours behind the sewing machine
- if you make a promotional kite, consider the fact that it will be very hard to sell second hand. People will prefer a standard kite to a branded one

Custom kites can be really interesting to be used as a marketing tool and not so expensive as you can imagine.

Using your kites as advertising can be good for those running their own bussiness as it is a way to continue "working" while you are on the water.

In some cases you may be able to claim/reduce the cost of the kite or printing as a tax expense (advertising), as well as you are advertising your business. Check with your accountant first.

Also you can "sponsor" yourself working for a friend/family/local bussiness making their promo while you are kiting. You don't really need to be a PRO-rider to be sponsored if you can find someone interested on promoting his bussiness using a kite.

You can download a template on the website. You can choose your favorite color combinations and/or print your logo on the kite.

To get started, simply email a logo and 3d renders can be provided to see what the finished product will look like.

Screen art is to be provided in illustrator .EPS or .AI format.

Limitations: Avoid printing near the leading edge (top of the kite ) as this area of the kite is very curved and we can not print a flat screen onto it. Screen max size is 2.4 meters, avoid having a screen print larger than this. Custom kite can be quoted when your Illustrator file is received. Solid colors only. Download a flat template here

Once screen prints are made, it is no extra cost to have more kites made using the same screen. You can use the same size logo on different sized kites, or you can make a different size screen per kite size.

We also offer this service. Mainly schools/clubs use it. Standard space we offer is 100CMx80CM on the place where our logo is now. This service is offered for 350 USD ex VAT once for the screen development. Once the screen is developed clients can have the logo every year again without additional costs indeed. Larger screens is much more expensive (also depending on amount of kites off course).
