I vote for #7 because I know how crazy the west coast gets and props to that dude!

well number 8 as from a marketing standpoint it is gnarly and actually shows a kite and spells out ocean rodeo.......so it says it all!

I voted #8,
Wish I was there that day in that blizzard, looked gnarly from the office window.
Blizzard conditions make for some incredible memories!
This picture also does seem to accurately embody what this contest is about... OR gear used in extreme conditions! Perfect.

No way that day was as savage as #8!
From a marketing standpoint, it does zero for OR. And while it conveys kit was a cold day for those that know the west coast, the photograph is otherwise not really that good in conveying the extreme weather ability of Ocean Rodeo, nor of Ocean Rodeo itself.
#7 will win asa popularity contest but if I was Ocean Rodeo that snow shot of #8 would be on my home page next fall!
(Disclaimer: While Chuck (#8 photographer) is a newer member of the local Toronto crew but I've never met him yet. I won't go out in that shit!!!! But I do think it is a great shot and am shilling for him!)

The full view of that shot is so much more dramatic and radical IMHO. The background perspective is excellent. Too bad it's not an OR Kite....but it's a soul drysuit contest not necessarily or kites. Going big (and staying dry) on the west coast!

That pic wasn't the original but of the same sequence, a really amazing whole set of shots. Props to David, aka C36 for capturing the moment! Thanx Bud!

Big Congrats to Atomic Chomic for the win!
Please get in touch with our office for us to sort you out!
A reminder to all participants, we will be running the #SoulSearch again next fall so keep shooting. Those of you yet to buy a Soul Series (Heat, Soul or Ignite) drysuit, get on it and enter next year!

This is also a very good shot. Big congratulations to the winner. I guess I'll be parting with some hard earned cash very soon.....
