I have 8m, 9.5m, 11.5 and 14m ManiaCs. My kites are not from the first batch, so maybe negative feedback applies to first batch kites only. These C kites are perfect for my style of riding - pure wakestyle. They are very locked-in, it takes efforts to move kite around, that's good for me, because I tend to pull one side of bar during handlepass. Pop is fantastic so it throws you in the air for way longer period of time. Slack is unbelievable. All these things really help with wakestyle tricks. Bar is light and I love it. There is 5th line option so you can rig it if you prefer easier relaunch . A lot of settings both on front and back lines, so everyone will find they favorite setup. Build quality is great, not many brands has it.
There are some things that some riders may not like. Turning radius is very wide, so you need to have balls to loop this kite. It's definitely not those hybrid kites that makes small powerless loops. It's really not the best kite for big jumps, look for some bridled kite if you want big jumps, Cabrinha FX or something similar would be better for high jumps.
Don't buy every size, ManiaCs has huge wind range comparing to other C kites. I cover all my wind range with 9.5m and 14m (I'm 90kg). I even didn't unpack my 8m and 11.5m and looks like I'm not going to use it, so considering to sell it.
