In South Australia we are working through the issues of mandatory PFD rules. It was great to have a pm conversation with RickI and get some statistics and example of a similar process in Canada.

Thanks RickI

How many kitesurfers drown due to lack of pfd?

I wonder if regulating something like this has any point?

You are welcome and I wish you good luck in the process Daz. I hope reason and good sense prevail with the government down there. There are few widely certified PFDs which work both safely and well in kiting. I saw some full wetsuits with integrated flotation some years back at Surf Expo in the US. I am having trouble finding the manufacturer today. I just found this which resembles the ones I saw at Surf Expo. Is this similar to what you were looking for? I imagine they might come up with variants with long sleeves but without buckles. It looks expensive however.
