This is a spot where you can get good waves and a cross off wind, but has a lot of jagged aluminium from a crashed plane, which is not visible near high tide.

Filters for:
Waves, flat water, wind speed ranges, calender , temperatures, location and distance from location.

For example: Like I want to find spot with waves, 18-22 knots wind, in September, with min 23c, within 300 km of Barcelona .

Hi Toby,
Most of these were already mentioned but let me share my list as well:
1. When is kiteboarding allowed at the spot ?-several times there is no info or the info is outdated
2. Is it free to ride or a school runs the place? In the latter case how much does it cost to enter the spot and what does the school offer for your money? Rescue, possibility to clean your gear.....
3. Is there space enough for launch? (for e.g at Garda lake there are a few places where your kite is literally launched from the road. And soon as you are caught by police you get a fine)
4. I think it would be good to be up to date even with the hazards you can face both on the beach and water
5. I find very important to have info about parking possibilities. Is it free or how much does it cost on a daily/weekly basis
6. How can you access the spot? By car, walking x meters.....
7. As you suggested, pictures and videos about the spots would help a lot

The info I would look for :
- Starting point : suitable wind orientation ( ie when does it work best and when to avoid). If Im in an area and forecast is NW wind, what are my options
- tide sensitivity (eg forget it at high tide)
- some idea of what riding to expect (waves, flat, chop)
- ease of access (parking, set up, type of beach etc)
- dangers or restrictions to be aware of
- comments from users - this usually very helpful and refines the above points
- pics always useful
