Just to put it out there, I have finally switched to an automatic electric pump. I now save my energy for the water and my back isn't going to give out (at least not from manually pumping). I also get on the water ten minutes faster which is awesome. I purchased wind chaser sports pump that they usually only sell online at an expo a month ago. The owner was super cool and gave me a discount. Here is the link if anyones interested.

I haven't had a problem with it yet. I'm not lazy, I am smart!

Its really all about efficiency, roll out your kite, connect the pump, roll out your lines while the kite is getting pumped up, by the time you roll out your lines get you harness on the kite is pumped connect you line and go.
Very easy, efficient and effortless

You'll appreciate it even more on the days when you have to put up multiple kites. Last thing I want to do is pump a kite half way through a session.

Looks like WindChaser may have changed their policy:
6 MONTH PUMP WARRANTY COVERS MANUFACTURING DEFECTS BEGINNING
FROM DELIVERY DATE, NOT FROM THE MOMENT YOU OPENED THE BOX. ANY
SIGN OF EXTERNAL WEAR AND TEAR, SAND INSIDE THE MOTOR,
OR SIGNS OF CORROSION VOIDS THE WARRANTY. WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
MISUSE. HOWEVER, WE DO SUPPLY SPARE PARTS TO THE PUMP AND CAN HELP
YOU FIND A SOLUTION SHOULD SOMETHING MALFUNCTION DUE TO MISUSE.
They also provide a sand filter and a leash for the pump, which seamax does not...

Windchaser pump sucks. And so does their support. I had 2 pumps break on me and they refused to help

Did you buy your pump through WindChaser Sports? I have found them to be extremely helpful. The dude who runs it helped me fix mine when I got sand inside mine a few years ago. He got me some spare parts free of charge, and walked me through replacing them. A friend of mine also had his malfunction after the warranty, and the dude replaced it without question.

Go down to beach with harness on
Open up kite that has lines already on,connect pump, hand pump kite 90 seconds (19 sqm)
Walk once the lines to check that all is ok, launch kite, ride, watch people still rigging from the water
Very very easy , most efficient and just the right amount of automatic human effort
EZ

Imagine of you use the automatic pump? you would save 90 seconds. run your lines out while the pump is pumping....!
My main fear with this device is when the pressure sensor fails... BoOOoM! goes your kite.
