News today:

"Higher prices also took effect, with sales taxes rising from 13 per cent to 23 per cent on many basic goods — including some meats, cooking oils, coffee, tea, cocoa, vinegar, salt, flowers, firewood, fertilizer, insecticides, sanitary towels and condoms.

Popular services were also hit by the new taxes: restaurants and cafes, funeral homes, taxis, ferries, cram schools and language schools.

After months of negotiations with creditors, Greece was forced to accept their demands to impose pension cuts and sales tax hikes."

Wow. bad person-card?

If I say to you, give me a 1000 euros, you would say why? No I don't give you a 1000 euros.

If I lend that 1000 euros from someone else, 10e a month, and then say to you I don't have any money and I don't like to change my spending, so pay my debts, would you then pay? Of course not. Then I start crying I don't have any money to spend any more, because I have to pay the loan and interests, would you then pay my loan?

Ok, you don't pay my loan but you buy my loan so you pay to banks and the loan becomes then yours. I start crying, you give the bank the money but not anything to ME! But how the h*** should you have paid anything to me because you only bought the loan? Now I owe to you and you set the interest to zero that is actually giving me money because then I don't have to pay so high interests anymore. You will actually be paying my interests because you also have to loan that money from somewhere with higher interest rate. But to me it's so "confusing" that I refuse to understand.

BTW, I do understand why you wanted to show the external debts of European countries. Because the external debts are higher in some countries. But this whole mess is not about external debt, it's about governmental debt, and we all know how those charts are:

I'm not going to start arguing with you. The situation in Greece starts to get better only after the greeks get the courage to look into a mirror.

I just got back from Greece, been to Athens and Paros. And except for some long lines and limited cash from the atm its perfectly fine there. In paros i didnt notice anything at all. If any the greeks are even more welcoming you.

I can only say it was absolutely EPIC.

@Mama70

Yes no reason to argue, the chart is right for 2015.In 2010 was at 100%.Then a program that was forced to us by the so called "troika", IMF and after 5 years austerity, the result of their successful program, is the chart you post

As for the Greeks and the mirror example, i guess it goes for your country also!

Guys the Greek islands are in good shape. It's full of people and best of all the wind is amazing.
We were on the island of Paros for 2 weeks and now we just made it to the island of Mykonos.

This topic is much better when talking about kiting and not politics...we all will never agree on the same things!

It is just the normal people who have to suffer from it all...so if you suffer, go kiting if you can and enjoy life with the fullest respect of other people and the nature.

Only this way we can be good people.

Good winds!
