Similar to the trick thread.
Whats your boosting like? do you always lay down your monster boosts on one side? or boost in booth directions.
I'm goofy and riding out and smashing off wave lips at my local is natural stance. So i'm forced to do most of my boosting on my bad side..... I've done it so much that my bad side is now better than my good side....hehehehe... But I still boost in booth directions.

Luckily for me at my spot the best direction for tricks and air is in my strong direction. I am always amazed at how pathetic I am in my weak direction. I get confused in the middle of rotations and I am never sure what is going to happen when I jump...so I just skip it.

Same answer as before... Yes. Keeps lines and canopy stretching even and makes you a better rider over all.

Some how it changed for me.Used to boost higher on port tack(lefthand forward) coming into beach. Now I boost higher on starboard tack heading out.It kills me because my natural kitelooping side is port tack,I keep trying to get up to megaloop height and it frustrates me.Don't feel like going through the learning process again!

I feel like it's kinda cheating to only do things one way. I boost and do wakestyle both ways. I learn tricks going left first then learn them to the right after (except toe side tricks then other way around). The only thing I do only to the left is big kiteloops (or is it called a megaloop
who knows). I want to learn them to the right but am a bit scared to pull the trigger for now

Totally depends on the spot.
Wind direction relative to wave direction makes a huge difference.
You also have to get back up wind at some point so you can't always afford to boost on both tacks.

I usually ride on the lake, so no waves. I prefer o jump right foot front since I'm goofy and, as a consequence, e.g. I prefer switching to toeside and carving back to the opposite direction when I'm riding left front.
On the wrong side I'm pathetic

Yep it's the same for me, boost big on my good side and rigor mortis style on my bad side.
I have concentrated on pop tricks on my bad side and doing well, some tricks I pull off better now on the bad side. So now I am concentrating doing jumping transitions to push past the rigor mortis and try to start to get a natural feel......hopefully!

Ditto. I suck doing higher jumps on my weak side but can do jump transitions and front rolls going weak side. Im thinking it has to do with getting my body in position to land. Ive pretty much given up on trying to boost high going that way.
