Seriously- over 1000 dollars for a twintip ???? Who can afford that? WTF? I think the people over at Core have started caring much more about profits than actual kiters. It makes sense from a business standpoint. Charge twice as much so you only have to sell half as much.
I guess it will make spotting the doctors and lawyers out.

Good question.
Yeah, Airbunny, how the hell do you convince your husband to give you that much money?

The more expensive the better right? And they can offer nice deals after a while

I'm surprised about the Crazyfly. High price for such a small brand. Who's crazy enough to buy that?

I think the prices for twintips, from most brands, have become ridiculous.
What do the top wakeboards cost in comparison?....Let me answer that...lots less.
And I don't think economy of scale is a factor that could adequately explain the price differential.

I don't understand your beef with Core... They are a bunch of cool, down to earth guys, some with families, who love and know what they are doing!!! I could kiss them for the countless moments of joy I've had with their material. Yes, it is possible to be faultless!!! They don't make mistakes bc they don't put out on the market every brain fart that passes through their viscinity. They experiment, watch, think, plan, and test over and over before they put a product on the market. The deflator is a great idea, but, like everything new, it needs time to evolve. Most people handle it incorrectly. As for the colors, I find 90% of colored kites hideous, I'm not complaining. I really don't need to be saying all this... The products speak for themselves. One thing they could improve: advertising!!! Most kiters who buy Core and Carved are completely ignorant about the range and specificity of the products. More advertising/educating about what they got!!! The way the best American board shapers do. P.S. I buy my own material; i don't mind spending on a good cause.

I convince her to get on my tandem board and we kitesurf into high seas(intl waters) and then I nick her purse.
Police can't touch me.
She falls for it everytime!
Awesome Answer !
Ya got my respect , for using your brain !!!

@ AirBunny- Might be a good idea to identify who you are responding to.
This page has been about boards and board prices, so it's difficult to tell who you are talking at.
I was not talking about a specific company, obviously.
About Core, or any company.....Faultless?...they don't make mistakes??
It's nice that you feel good about their products, but faultless and don't make mistakes is a bit over the top...a bit like their advertising copy.
