That took a long time! I happy to see SS is moving in the right direction.

It's a big year for Cabrinha too! They finally gave up on their over complicated bar and put a cleat on instead!

I'm ok with the Slingshot below the bar depower. Sad that it took so many years for Cabrinha to clean up their mess. Personally, love the Ozone depower system and cleat.

I REALLY hated below the bar trim until I actually rode it for a year. Now I sort of prefer it as it's less clutter above the bar. Different bars, kites, riding styles work better with certain designs.

Slingshot's philosophy on their bar/lines seems to have been to keep it simple, basic and durable. I tend to agree with that principle in general, and have found their's long-lasting. However, I know from conversations with others that I'm not the only one to accidentally release the safety when trying to pull the trim line out of the cleat. If the line gets caught too tight in the cleat, the natural instinct is to grab the quick release handle to be able to pull harder on the trim line, but you accidentally release the safety. I'm also not the only one to get bopped in the face with the trim-line handle.
Also, I'm surprised it took them so long to add bungee line keepers. I added my own a couple years ago after reading a forum post recommending that.

glad you like ATB trim,
i prefer the BTB trim,
so not as big deal to me as to you.
So i don't think they "saw the light" except to increase options for personal preferences.
