Blind Judge vs 313

I had some wakestyle coaching in Tarifa last week with some pros there with the idea of learning the blind Judge, but got confused when they told me that's easier to start with the 313 coz of riding skills. Is it normal?

Maybe they told you so because your better direction and your better passing hand are in the direction of the 313...

I reckon a 313 would be easier to learn, because you wouldn't need to learn how to land/ ride blind. You can do a good chunk of 313 just by doing raley to toeside (krypt?) which is quite easy to learn, then you've only got to bang another 180 out and you're there (except the handlepass ofc).
Also, I've just learned 360's off a kicker wakeboarding, and found the natural rotation was in the same was as a 313 as it makes it easier to get the rotation going by pulling the bar into your back hip.

Got it, but once u get the 313 done it's gonna be hard to go back to learn blind judge.

I do my 313's going one way (i.e. going right), and my blind judge or judge 3 going the other way (i.e. going left). It's the exact same pass, but obviously a different trick.

I thought most people who land these tricks did the same. I guess the top guys can do both tricks going in any direction.

Probably it all depends of how you will aproach to the trick
My story was exactly the same - 313 and a way later Blind Judge :D
I started to learn 313 having an airpass in my pocket (i still believe that airpass is a best way to place yourself into handlepasses action). Then started to do an airpass without sending the kite much, then without sanding it at all, then tried to keep the kite bit lower and concentrate on the arms action keeping legs down.
That days i was able to perform 9 airpasses from 10. Transformation it to 313 takes about two hours for me.
The main mistake about Blind Judge IMHO - is thinking that it is an extension of a Raley2blind, while its just a bit different tricks.

So 313 on one side and blind judge on the other. I do all my trick to the left, that means that I should starts unhooking to the right side. It's gonna harder than I thought to learn the blind judge :o

Passing the bar in the air as opposed to a surface pass.
