Core GTS3 Quiver guidance

Postby Craven Morehead » Fri Oct 02, 2015 5:15 pm

For anyone who has used or owns a range of these can I seek some advice.
I have the 9 and the 7 already. I want to add either an 11, a 12 or a 13.
I also have the XR3 in a 12 but it's boring me now.
I weigh 76 kilos, freerider / waverider / kitelooper and like to be reasonably powered up with low bar pressure.
I have a lightwind kite (17m) - What I am looking for is the best size for that 14-20 knot window. I have found that the 9 needs a fair amount of wind to really start performing in anything less than about 19 knots! I hope to demo a 12 soon but feedback from other owners as regards the useability of these 3 sizes would be helpful.
thanks in advance!

I would say go for the 12m for 15-20kt. If you want more power on the low end, use your bigger TT. Ive found these hybrid Cs more fun the smaller you get so I always try to use the smallest possible. Better drifting and better looping/turning. 11m may be a bit small @14/15 kt.
