It was my cousin Tony who was attacked probably by a tiger shark. He is a kitesurfer who was swimming that day. He is out life danger and in good spirits. However, doctors could not save his right foot.
Here is his account:
The shark grabbed my legs and pulled me down. I was hitting it in the nose, but it didn't let go. It pulled me under deep, so I knew I was in trouble. I stuck my hand into its eye and pulled out one of its eyeballs. That finally got it to let go.
Pulling the eye ball was a good reflex, something we should all be aware of.
