Chrono definately jumps well.

I have seen the race kite inverting at the wingtips. But this was in minimal winds with a hydrafoil. I believe this to be a bridle issue, but doesn't help the guy stuck in the drink.

Definately have a place within kitesurfing. Some of the guys at my local beach love them

Depends on what you like, I guess. I've got 2 inflatables, but I haven't used them once this summer or fall. You can't beat the foil kites for light wind hydrofoiling. I've tried with my inflatable, but during the lulls it just doesn't stay up. Still, I'm sure if you're into tricks and pushing limits, the inflatables have their place. If you're crashing hard a lot while learning tricks, I don't think the foils would be a good choice due to the likelihood of damaging them. They do relaunch very well, however. I can't tell you how many times I put my foils in the water struggling learning the hydrofoil, but they would always relaunch. And it's just great to walk down to the beach with only board and kite in hand, roll out the kite and go, with nothing left behind to worry about. And for gusty high winds, well, now that I've gotten better, I can ride the 8 meter foil kite with either the hydrofoil or the twin tip, twin tip at the full power setting, hydrofoil at half or less. The foil kites have been very reliable for me all around.

Looks like it is a typo :!:
Whenever when it says in pump me up's quotes "Ram airs and Chrono"
should be replaced with Strutless Kites :!:

Who is really devoted to the sport kiteboarding, is about performance at the end,
like boosting, light winds, upwind leg and fast relaunch of foil kites.
But the funny thing the Strutless hasn't even made it yet to the favor freestyle attraction.

Ignore the propaganda about strutless :!: :argue:

I wonder why someone starts new topics about the same shit over and over again...

If RAM air kites are INFERIOR as you say they are then the market will sort it out. There are way to many companies making kites 90% of them LEI only so you surely don't need to worry about this INFERIOR 10%.

I'm sure only idiots buy RAM are kites including myself :thumb:

The R A kites are much happier to not have you choke them as well!

this is a perfect advertisement of how NOT to fly a kite.

The more time H is off a foil kite, the better. He has no idea what he is doing.

Yeah but you don't know what you don't know. So you are blissfully happy not knowing you could be even happier with better performing kites in the ultra light winds that you play in.
