Today's fun fact is that Tampa Bay is the Bull Shark capital of the USA.

Out of curiosity, where did you get this....I ask because I've heard other places cited, so I'm just curious if there is a data source or if this is word of mouth.

Well I read it on the internet, of course!

Tampa Bay has lots of Bulls and I've heard that most of my life, so maybe I've been indoctrinated with fish tales all my life. It happens.

Actually, New Smyrna Beach in Florida is the area of the most shark attacks, but that includes all types.

Next is Cocoa Beach area, which is probably better known for it's Largemouth Catfish population.
