Looks to be under 20 knots for 10days. Bring the 9 if you have space though :allbegood:

Forecast looks bad.
Skip the 9 if you stay only a short time

Mostly what they said - it doesn't look good for the next week - but I'm bringing 15-10 next Friday, never know when the wind will kick up down there!

I've lived in Cab for 3 seasons - the 9m is the most used kite size generally.... forcasts aren't always right...

Don't risk it and bring every size you have, especially if you're thinking of a trip to Buen Hombre where it's generally a bit stronger

Have fun :)

I was on my 10 yesterday. I am about 135 lbs. Generally I ride my 8 and it is rare that I have to break out my 10. 17m???? I have never seen one hahaha. Don't trust the forecast. You can only trust the palm trees. Here is an article I wrote with 8 years of data: http://cabaretecondos.com/cabarete-wind/

This is a good website to check out for a brand new calibrated wind station and web cam on kite beach: http://gokitecabarete.com/gokite-weathe ... ch-camera/

Tracy, there was an 18 last year for about 3 months in the bay in front of LEK! And looks like there will be one soon again!

If you can bring what you have...can be anything. But if you stay not that long and can see forecasts, and no real wind predicted, don't forget your 17 !

Toby it should be noted that I was out on a 10 m, and even a few times on a 7m when you were flying your 18 :) Still - absolutely right, bring the big kite if the wind looks light, bring them all if you can!

When are you going back Toby?
