Any decent flat water kiting near Port Charlotte FLA?

Advanced wakestyle kiter looking for somewhere to let loose near Port Charlotte. What are the winds like season wise... Good spots etc? Kite sizes used for 180 pound guy in boots?

Oh I'm sorry, I guess it was your lack of detail about the country you were looking for information on that lead me to believe you might be American.

From my experience of reading the forum people from large countries tend not to specify the country, just the town they want info on

Here's the contact for an instructor in the area. I'm in the east coast, but I've heard of a spot over there called Tiger Tail i think that's supposed to be a great flat water kiting area. I'm ocean and waves 99% of the time over on this side of the state. Im sure he'd be able to fill you in on local details.
