Hi Bill. Best is to have someone to go out with so you can look after each other. I have had windsurf masts break out there and paddled back, so its doable, but you need to have strong surfing paddle muscles. You also must understand the currents out there as they will pull you out to sea if you choose the wrong course/track. The bigger the swell the meaner the currents ; )

anyone knows what happened with the Indian Resort? I lot of people recommend it, but they don't seem to have a website (google returns a portal under their name that lists bunch of hotels in the area, but not actually the indian resort. does anyone have contact info? thanks

What is your budget?

There are the Riu hotels are good but if you are wanting to spend the big bucks the St Regis.
