I'm editing a "spots" entry as it's outdated.

It says "Features" and you can tick "shop" and "rooms"

If I tick "shop", how are people going to know if I mean a Walmart or a shop that sells paint or kite shop? and rooms? what are rooms? It should say Hotel/B&B.

Also, some entries for "landkiting" look highly dubious.

You no doubt understand that some services at a beach are seasonal, for example, the toilets may only be open during the summer months. This system doesn't provide for that .

Are food shops located 1 mile away from the spot to be included?

It won't have general commercial info.
Just kiting related.
There are no contents yet, as we are solving the bugs and adding FAQs.
Once all done, we will work on content.
If seasonal then no one would go kiting there, right? Never was a problem.

Rooms is shorter than hotel, guesthouse, BB, apartments, houses...

Wherever you see outdated info, just click on "Edit Spot" and change the info. Fast and simple.

No no. At my local spot, it said "toilets, food".

This is true but only during summer and school holidays. So it's not true to say they have toilets and food.

I'm going flying in the next two days at this spot. I just make sure I didn't have a Vindaloo the previous night and everything is fine.

We had a bug in the session log part...with adding gear on your personal info.

We changed the home a bit. We took out the spots map, since it will load longer. And most people will use the Spots link on top anyway.

Therefore we added the latest 4 logged sessions and below 4 random spots from our database.

So scrolling down shows you quickly where people are having wind and you might find a spot that inspires you for your next trip.

Meanwhile I am working on the FAQs so you can learn how the site and its features work. There is a lot of stuff which is really exciting. Make sure to use the tools...it will be great for you and the whole community.

With the new videos page it doesn't show newest first by default and clicking on "Most Recent" shows only videos from March 7 and a spinning progress circle.

it shows the latest when I check it...shows latest also by default.

quick question/comment.

when finished w a thread and push "return to ..." at the bottom left, it always goes back to the top of the subforum you're in. Is there an option to go back to the subforum around the thread you just left, instead of back to the beginning and having to scroll down to that spot again?

that would be a helpful feature if it doesn't exist...

No, unfortunately not. But, just use the backspace of the browser and you will be back.

Well the default view matches what you posted but there are so many 2+ year old videos I figured the sorting was messed up, not that they are considered "new".

When I click recent, I still get this:
