For me it looks like a better kite than Velocity for racing.
Much higher AR. The weight the same. One block more on the bridle. Main tube slightly thinner than Velocity's one.
My kites are:
14m - 4010gr
10m - 3280gr
7m - 2580gr
Apollo 14 vs Velocity 14 (2015):
- main tube - max diameter 2cm smaller - 26cm vs 28cm
- at the center strut Apollo is around 15cm narrower,
- three attach positions for a steering line ABC vs two AB,
- the same strut's thickness,
- the rest in the pictures:
There are new protectors for one-pump system. Looks good.
Bridle lines going through pulleys are made of stronger and stiffer lines.
I like graphics.
Riding - so far so good. I don't afraid to say - I love it
One more thing - once Apollo is in the air it looks soooooo slim! I think it the highest AR inflatable on the market ever?
