It is a Holly Book of instructions:
http://www.zeroprestige.org/sewakite.pdf
Unfortunately it's also very outdated and you may be confused more than before :naughty:
I will publish an updated step by step tutorial and explain how to use the markers on the cutted panels (and DXF).
I'm still working on some sewing optimizations that will make it easier for you to sew the difficult seams.
Ha ha,

There are many ways to "skin a cat" :)

Not a two DIY builders would agree on a single thing ;)

Anyways, Marry Christmas!

I really love this sewakite document for sentimental reasons. Sew my first kite following the steps without ever haven seen one in reality. Caused me a lot of head scratching

Merry xmas!

Finished the GOv4 in size 9 + 12m.

Finally we can offer all kites as assembly kits with all parts (sail, tubes etc.) cut and labelled in high quality + welded bladder . Saves a lot of time. :thumb:
Is there any interest?
Hi Karsten, any progress here?

Finished the design of the GO in size 7m and published the plans on github. You can find all the links on my website: http://www.wingworks.de/downloads/.

If you have to stay at home for some time this may be a good project to get your mind off corona news...

I'll try to update some more plans soon...

You can get all the fabrics from www.extremtextil.de (more colors are on the way)

Hi,

thanks for posting.

What's the fabric at the bottom? It's not a ripstop by the look. I can't imagine that LE fabric is semi transparent....Also, what are this two tapes?

It's the standard leading edge dacron 170g dimension polyant.
And the tapes are seam tape (6mm) and insignia tape (19mm). I'm using white on the inside of the leading edge because of the "transparency" :-D

I can't respect why tube kites all look so similar. You could use a far more elaborate bridle and have a LE so much thinner. Kite would challenge Aluula.

Thin tube requires much higher pressure. Also changes the flight characteristics.
