Is there anybody out there who has ridden both of them!?
...or can give his expressions to one of them!?
At http://www.oase.com I found just less informations about the cloud...
What about Gong!?

Never heard of the Gong strutless until now. I have V1 and V2 Clouds. They are awesome as a wave kite. They are also supposedly awesome as a hydrofoil kite and not really a jumping kite, but I can't comment on those last two.

I heard about gong here before. They certainly look interesting, higher AR than the cloud, I think they would be a nice kite. Their pricing is certainly much better than the cloud.

i want a strut less also, but the clouds are a ridiculous price, looking at the storm voyager and gong strut less, anyone fly both?

Interesting. I flew a cloud and thought it handled like crap. Really weird steering feel. A higher aspect kite like the Gong I would expect to have a lot more canopy twist unless their bridles were really well sorted.

What did you mean by weird steering feel?
Perhaps you had it trimmed wrong.
The handling of the clouds is the reason people like them - super fast turning sheeted in and high stability sheeted out. no overflying when sheeted out, great drift, fun in waves.
I would suggest you try again.

Definitely the Clouds handle a lot differently than strutted kites, and I agree with everything BWD posted. For me it took about three sessions on my Clouds ( 8 & 6m C1's ) before I felt dialed in to them, and my first Cloud session on the 8m felt so very different than what I was used too that I didn't really understand the kite.

Now for riding waves where I want to shut off the power from the kite and only use it when needed, nothing I have tried outperforms a Cloud.

My mate uses a Cloud and Storm Voyager when foiling and riding strapless. He rates both kites. The Storm looks really nice, really well put together. Not seen the Could close up.

No, it was trimmed right, the odd feeling came from the "bump" in the steering pressure when the canopy twisted. Instead of being a linear increase there was a distinct bump when the canopy twisted from a left cant to a right or vice versa. And, seriously, no one can really make the claim that they're fast turning. Middle of the road at best, my Caution Spitfire and OR Razor absolutely put them to shame in the turning speed department not to mention C kites.
