Anyone use a Shinn Turbo and replace stock fins (57mm) with smaller fins? Recently bought a Turbo and it carves well when riding on the rails, but transitions really stick when weight is on the fins. I like the board to feel a little 'loose'. Seems like there is enough sharp rail to maintain upwind capability without the deep fins. Any advice would be appreciated.

the board still tracks reasonably well on smaller fins, but to get the solidity and trust of the rail through the turns the 57mm fins are needed. 52 will make a little less trusting and 43 will make it squirrely. Obs the smaller the fin the easier it is to change stance without hopping.

I see on Shinn's web page that Bite fins come in 57mm (which is what I have) and 53mm. Do I still have to 'hop' board transitions with 53mm fins. Do you know if there are other fin manufactures to choose from that will fit a Shinn? I live in the US. Thanks.
