Looking for a padded bag to keep it protected during normal transportation to and from the beach - and the very locational longer trip

What ever you buy, just remember it is 5'6'' or 168cm not 5'4'' or 5.4 feet like they advertise.

5'6 board bag options:
Airwave SF Kitesurf
Creatures of Leisure Retro Fish
FCS Dayrunner Perform Hull
Ion Surf Core
North Nugget (fits 5'5)
ProLite Session
Rareform Shortboard
Ronix Dempsey (fits 5'1-6'2)
Wavetribe Mini Simmons & Wavetribe Vanguard Custom
Bag widths are not indicated with most of these brands, but most of these bags are designed to fit either wake-surfboards or retro fish shapes which tend to be around 20-22". The Duke is 18.5".

Huh. I have a 2010 mako that's basically indestructible. It's been in the back of more pickup trucks than a country & western singer. Is the Duke really that dainty and delicate?

Just buy a 6' surfboard bag, it does the trick and you can get them cheaper than kiteboard bags.
The Mako Duke is tough, but I wouldn't recommend leaving it bouncing around in the back of a ute.

Check out Flyboy covers. Can leave the foil rigged and tons of padding.

I had the same issue, 155 CM golf bag. I'm waiting for a smaller version of the Duke - OR is pretty good at creating a good shape and then adapting it to different sizes for different weights, etc. So......if I were to wager a bet - I'd guess they have a 5'1 or so version coming out in the near future.
In any case, I love the board, would like to take it to Barbados or some other wave destinations.
