Can see the German version of this article on the Liros website, but not the English translation - where did you find the English version ?

Interesting reading, especially given my current project. So I am dying for some Liros Techtanium (DC-401) Line (Core Pro) to assemble my high wind bar (tired of breaking thru line sets). I like the 1.6mm version with ridiculous breaking strength.

In the USA, Paratour based in Florida is listed as a retailer. I will talk to my line maker here on Maui and see if she could order a spool. I think a group of us would need to pitch in to order a spool of the stuff to make it worthwhile for a retailer to import it. Who would want to go in on that?

RIght now I am thinking I just want a 24m 5-line set for my Torchies.

Some racing buddies and I have been exploring cheap line sets and one of our friends who runs a retail shop approached Ozone. They'll do whatever size/strength lines you want with pigtails for just about the same price as the bulk line + shipping. From my perspective, it doesn't really make sense to buy bulk line when a qualtiy manufacturer will give such a discount for a group buy.

Just found that out today. Another option is to go to www.GorillaRigging.com, they carry Marlow brand SK99 by the spool.

lol yeah but I need a group for that!

Right now I gots nobody.

Also, I am less interested in cheap line and more interested in high quality line at the lowest cost. I wish to try this Liros material - they have a 1.6mm 540 daN version of the DC-401 that Core is using (Core chose something lighter). Im thinking a 100m spool for my flying lines and a 100m spool of a lighter weight for my steering lines. Anyone interested in either ?

Sk99 is the state of the art right now. The Liros DC series is sk75. Not saying it's not good, but if quality is your goal you can't beat sk99 dyneema.

THe smallest diameter sk99 by Marlow is 2.5mm in their GranPrix series. Thats too much for flying/steering lines (altho good for my lower Y split line). Is there another product in their line thats useable for kiting lines? I have a retailer willing/able to sell me the Liros 401 lines, so I am def interested in knowing if I am missing something. Otherwise I will prob buy the LIros lines, came out reasonably priced with shipping.
