Attaching boots to a board.

Postby Iemonhaze32 » Thu Sep 29, 2016 1:03 am

I want to put boots on my board, can I buy any kind of wakeboarding boots and hook them up to my board? I'm riding a liquid force rocket, can I take the straps out and put boots in it's place? Or is it possible to drill holes and fill them up with fiberglass when i'm done? Any help is appreciated thanks

Quit talking about yourself like that, I'm trying to get help with my board, if you can't say something helpful then shut up or say something supportive. I'm not here to deal with your insecurity issues

No I realize that not everyone like's the "wakestyle" look, I get it. But i'm not trying to be like a wakestyler, I'm trying to keep the board from coming off so I don't have to body drag. It's too damn difficult to stay on a foilboard, if my feet were planted on the board I would be more stable, and also when I attempt to do back rolls and front rolls there is no chance of it coming off. There is nothing faggoty about wanting the board to stay with you in the water

This is a joke I hope.

You really want boots on a foiboard?
If you can't keep the board on your feet using footstraps, maybe you shouldn't try doing backrolls, and instead should be focusing on the very basics.

All the wrong reasons for boots and boots on a foil board are an absolute no.

What I don't understand is your comment about body dragging? I have owned a bunch of foils and they all run downwind quickly so no need to bodydrag. Have you tried waiting for the wind to push your foil back to you?

Hazey,
I think your best option is to get a pair of snowboard boots, some lag bolts and some Liquid Nails construction adhesive.
Take the lag bolts and bolt those boots to the wakeboard, it will work fine.
Then cover your bare feet with the Liquid Nails construction adhesive and slip your feet into those boots.
Smoke some LemonHaze on the beach while your adhesive sets and then go out and foil until your hearts content.
