Switch In Bed With Middle Men

What happened to "cutting out the middle men"? You're now in bed with them. Amazon.com takes good care of their sellers. Perhaps you should see if your bar designer can receive free mental health care for his anger issues and addiction to lying.

You'll also see Ocean Rodeo sell on Amazon.com also, although they like to keep this quiet. They seem to see kite shops as a charity case. I see them more as a criminal case.

How come Amazon refuse to sell or list nicotine products but sell or allow this crap?

And hello Faxie, welcome to my thread. You got LONG VEHICLE stickers for your bicycle+trailer outfit yet? quite a rig you have there. What is it, C+E or is it registered as just a tractor trailer (just c)?

With all due respect Knotwindy, it sounds like you have snakes in your pocket.

No middle men here. Many companies use Amazon to access and market to their 60+ million customer base.
Notice who the seller is? It's not Amazon, it's not XYZ Kite Shop, it's Switch.
Cabrinha, Liquid Force, Naish, Slingshot, North, and Ocean Rodeo also do the exact same thing. A VERY smart business practice if you ask me.
Edit: 60+ million is just their Prime member base.

I would call it a middle man whether Amazon sell it or not.

And Amazon doesn't allow dangerous, defective products to be sold on its site. It seems the controller 3 is being listed in an illegal manner.

And Switch, you're not allowed to import dangerous goods into any country.

I would love to get you into court. I would overthrow the judge and seize the court and deal with you myself.

Da Yoda,

every year, state organs confiscate dangerous toys and christmas tree lights? do you agree? they do that in your country?

So, dangerous goods are not allowed to be imported.

It's just a marketing platform, nothing more. Middle men hold inventory. Big difference here!

Thankfully yes we do that here (not perfectly though). But that's with known products that have the potential to maim or kill on a mass scale. Kiteboarding is a very tiny market in the US compared to the toy or tree light market to use your examples. The percentage of customers buying kites (especially through Amazon) is minuscule compared to your examples and thousands of other products. When buying kite gear from any brand, we inherently assume the risk that comes with our sport and that includes gear not performing to spec. Until an abnormal percentage of reports come in that something is causing harm or death, here in the US we just take it as " buyer beware".

You make an interesting accusation Do Yoda. One I never thought of.

A middle man must hold inventory which in the case of Switch is a 3rd party building in England, Hong Kong and somewhere else I think.

You say Switch has broken the Advertising Standards Authority of New Zealand code of conduct by stating they are direct sales when infact, as you rightly point out, a middle man holds the inventory.

Do you have any more proof of this breach of advertising rules?

I am getting very concerned about my friend Faxie in Netherlands, he has not entered this thread yet. He's probably out on his bicycle having a great time making cars stop for him.
