A friend of mine, named Jimmie, died by heart faillure while doing his beloved sport, Kitesurfing.
He was very sportive for his age, fitness, bicycling, swimming, skiing kiting.
He all of a sudden pulled his QR but later on any help came too late, he died while doing his favorite sports.
Condolences to the family.
cheers
dude

So sad for his family but if they're anything like mine they'll celebrate his life and the fact that he died doing what he loved - kitesurfing - instead of sitting waiting for the grim reaper to claim him.

My condolences too...very sorry to hear.
But...what a great death! Be happy for him to leave that way...there are sooo many bad ways to go...specially the ones who suffer for a long time.
If I can choose, than that way!

I think we all want to go the way he went ...that is one of the reasons I have put it here.
He has enjoyed his life to the fullest, always busy and on the road for his sports and the things he loved to do.
thx for all the condolences....

Condolences, very sad news, but I agree with Toby. Also, I think that kiting in normal conditions is not so strenuous to cause an heart attack, it would happen anyway. Far better to die while enjoying a great session than sitting on a sofa watching tv.
RIP
