Any kite made from 2013 until now with the words "New Technology" advertised.

Any board made from 2010 until now with the words "New technology" advertised.

Super long 1 pump inflation tubes going to the struts that don't deflate when folding

Helmets

Water socks (gay)

Big valves are great! Don't want to live without them.

Rescue handles are great to have if sh** happens.

The wind it up kite launching method. In this one you stood on the beach with a big loop of line wrapped around what I can only describe as a fishing pole reel and you launched your kite 2 feet in front of you and then reeled out the line and to finish a session you reeled it back it. Crazy times back then. I guess you could dial in whatever line length you wanted but the price was you were riding with the equivalent of a shark sized fishing tackle control bar.
...
Gonna be Fun, when some famous kite-racer, finds out he's got a really GOOD edge
over the other competitors, from using that (reel-Out/In) devise Ya just mentioned !! :D

Then all the wanna-Be schmucks, will rush out and buy one .

1. I'd add the fireball, recoil depower and silly pigtails to above mentioned 2:1 bar, IDS and adjustable size bar! Six strikes for Cabrinha (but their 1x bar with Trimlite is near perfect)
2. Proprietary hose on WMFG pump (even nozzles have proprietary diameter!)
3. Tiny kiting cams requiring waterproof housing
4. Cuben fiber with high pressure bladder (Best)
5. Full chickenloop release (LF, Cabrinha)
6. Depower line spliced into center middle of center line (Flysurfer)
7. Jet-Flaps (Flysurfer)
8. Zip-deflation on foils (I guess people don't like velcros either)
9. Corroding aluminum sticks (Peter Lynn ARCs)
10. high-Y center lines split, not allowing to flag/self-land a kite to any side you want (Slingshot Z, Cabrinha, Naish, Core)
11. Pull and twist quick release (Core)
12. White lines. Come snowkite with those...(Slingshot)
13. Long and narrow lightwind board (Slingshot)
14. Pulleys which get stuck, bridle cuts through wheel and then pulley cuts the bridle (LF)
15. Oh'shit loop (Slingshot)
16. Under the bar trim
17. Central lines shortrer/longer than rear lines

nice additions grigorib. shaved whales the channels are nice because they let you ride finless, i like them a lot, it lets you get decent grip on your board and still ride wakepark style rails and ramps with your kiteboard

Yes thats why i said SOME tts - theres a limit to their usefulness and the rest is bullshit angles that go any direction... I cant wait to see a Clinker hull design lol

Can add all above the bar kite swivels except the Mutiny one that has recently stopped working twist free after 4 years.

Skywalk had those Jet-flaps on a PG a bunch of years back ; i have a skywalk chili
and they work great for landing, (Skywalk use to be the parent Co, of flysurfer) and
i think they went there separate ways .

As for using flaps on a kite ; can't see how they would be of any use ?

Are you talking about the zipper, to deflate a ram-air kite ?
