I'm not 100% sure on the Enduro, so I'll let someone else chime in on that one, but the Flite will have better lowend than the Dice and the FX for sure. It will be AT LEAST as fast as all 3 of those, if not faster turning. The FX and Dice will produce a little more pull through the loop, as the Flite will more nimbly pivot on its wing. In full disclosure, I own a quiver of Flites. I'm a big boy and like powerful, responsive kites. Hope that helps!

Go with the Flite for sure! It is like a combo kite between a low aspect and a high aspect kite, but flys like both with all the same abilities of low end, drift, upwind, relaunch and stability.

Is anyone around the 80kg (175lbs) weight riding the 8m Flite?

My 10 and 12m have been an absolute hoot to learn to loop the kite on and I was thinking of an 8m for stronger winds but wasn't sure if this was aimed more at lighter riders and wouldn't work so well for moderately (okay people who have eaten a few too many pies) sized folks. Any feedback from 8m Flite riders?

Otherwise had a great ego massaging session on holiday riding the 12m (on a borrowed fat board 140x43cm ) and charging upwind whilst around me folk (of similar weight) were struggling to make upwind progress on 14 and 17m kites. With a bit of technique you can build a lovely bit of apparent wind on this kite and generate more power than you expect.

I'm same weight and ride my 8m Flite from ~25mph to 33-35mph. My quiver is 17m,12m,8m Flites. The range is ridiculous!

It's been a while since the last post of you, but I hope you can give me some advice with your big experience of Flite's.
I'm 70kgs naked and use a Best TS 14m from 2016 in combination with a Firewire Vader 5"1 23L (which isn't the same as a lightwindboard as I thought).
Now the most of the days here in Bretagne (france) I couldn't have any session cause with the TS it starts with 12/13knts (with my TT 138x44 with 13/14knts). I demo a North Juice 15m 2015 in 11knts, but it hadn't enough power for me to going upwind.

I ask me if this would work with a Flite 14.5 or if 14/15m are 14/15m, it doesen't depend the brand..

I would like to have fun at 10knts and keep it till around 16/17knts, then i switch to my 10.5.

Do you propose me a 14.5 (which I can use also better for surf) or a 17m Flite?

Hi Dominic !
The 14.5 Flite won't get you going in less wind than a Juice 15, it has about the same low end. But it's a lot more agile, responsive and fun to fly !

If you want to be able to stay upwind in 10 kts on a regular board you need the 17 but it won't be very fun... What is fun is ripping upwind with the 12 on an hydrofoil !
