Two Kiters on Land at the Same Time
When two kiteboarders are on land at the same time, one kiter is preparing to enter in the water and the other one is ready to land, both proceed and keep clear from each other. In these situations there are actually no rule as both riders are in the same situation. Use your common sense and be kind with other kiters to bring positive vibes on the spot!

the kiter that is going out always has right of way. If there's any problem the kiter coming in should go back out on the water do another tack, until the kiter launching is on the water. at least that's what I thought.
If both kiters are landing at the same time or both kiters are launching at the same time that's when I thought there were no particular rules.

I agree 100% It is much safer for the person already on the water to tack a few times in wait than for someone on land to wait while their kite is in the air.

except in crowded places where it could take 2 hours to get in to land if you waited on the water tacking until everyone else got out. All these "rules" are somewhat site/moment specific but it is good to have a rule-of-thumb to start with.

The number one rule, regardless of who is 'right' and who is 'wrong', is to avoid crossing lines and collisions.

Feel like im in kindergarten. Thanks for the friendly heads up. But i think most of us know this or already know how to be courteous enough to give everyone the room we need.

I would think the person coming in would have the right of way. The issue is no one knows the condition of the rider coming in. Is there an equipment problem, fatigue, physical issue. The rider going out is assumed to be in a good situation.
The same applies to aircraft. A landing pilot always has the right of way.

Unfortunately there are a shitload of people 'Without' commonsense and noobs with little instruction..
Also the same for passing on water, one high one low - 70% of people dont know how to do that either...
People park their kite enjoying bliss not even aware they are about to collide with another kite

+1
most of the folks on this forum are not the "average" kiters that need the instructions.
