They used to "stack" foil kites years ago, maybe still do. Has anyone ever seen or tried stacking LEIs?

I saw a video by Best showing two stacked LEI kites in the snow, I'm sure it was on here somewhere.


The problem is that you have to put the bigger kite on top, which means that the setup will not be very coordinated. The slower kite also has the most distance to travel.
Also, I can imagine water relaunch could be tricky.

Impressive.

Looks like the biggest kites are on top, but they all turn together pretty well.

I imagine they've found fast-turning large kites, and slow turning smaller kites. And probably fiddled with the rear line attachment points on each kite. Many kites have two or three different options, for changing turning speed.
